“God is Good; All the Time!” He blessed our May 2nd seminar in so many ways. Those in attendance came from Florida, North Carolina, several areas of Tennessee and, of course, from Knoxville and were very responsive. For us this was in the “flesh”, the acid test. Could I really teach for 3 ½ hours and then pray for the wounded and brokenhearted for another 3 ½ hours (which is what occurred)? I deeply felt in my spirit that Father’s anointing and the blessing of the Holy Spirit would take place, but on the human level we did not really know.
It had been over 2 ½ years since I’d even tried to a seminar. The future of our public ministry really did hang in the balance. For over 2 years we had not sensed that we should even try because of my daily lack of stamina, cognitive struggles and 24/7 pain level. However, sensing that this was God’s timing and desire, we had to take this step of faith. God’s great grace and your intercession indeed carried us through and the attendees were so positive that my sense was that this was not to be a onetime experience, but God’s release to return to public ministry. We were to walk this out prudently, but with consecrated common sense, as the late Dr. Bill Bright called it one day in his office many years ago.
“The Relationship Robber” seminar was so blessed by the Lord and there was such a sense of release in the Spirit for the future that it was, “the guarantee of my inheritance” (2 Cor. 5:5) in resuming my public ministry to the broken hearted, those in captivity and the oppressed (Luke 4:18). As I learned 30 years ago, so much physical healing waits for healing in the spiritual and emotional realm and Jesus came to set people free and to announce that “NOW” is always the accepted time.
“The Relationship Robber” Seminar, Blessed
“’The Spirit of the Lord God is upon Me, because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound;
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God;
To comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion,
To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise
for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness,
The planting of the Lord that He may be glorified.’”
Isaiah 61:1-3
